Doriandra joined the Whiteaker Community Council in the summer of 2021, taking the lead on a complex portfolio of state and federal grants that supported Whiteaker residents throughout the pandemic. With the WCC Board's passion for community and talented support, she has since developed multiple public health & safety initiatives and large scale public art installations that brought together our families, unhoused neighbors and local community based organizations in partnership.
By presenting the data of Whiteaker challenges and successes to government agencies that place their trust in WCC, she strives to make WCC a valuable voice to inspire legislative changes that empower vulnerable communities across the wider state of Oregon, one neighborhood at a time.
She and her friendly dog can be found strolling the verdant streets and parks of the Whiteaker, taking it all in with gratitude.
