Welcome to the Whiteaker Community Council.

The Whiteaker Community Council represents those that live, work, or own property in the Whiteaker. The council is elected by the neighborhood, and, as an advocate for our community, gives voice to the needs and wants of the neighborhood to the City of Eugene and other decision-makers. If you live, work, or own property in the Whiteaker neighborhood, you are a member of the Whiteaker Community Council.

We want to hear from you!

Who We Are

Founded in 1974, the Mission of the Whiteaker Community Council (WCC) is to empower the Whiteaker Neighborhood and its members, primarily through educational, cultural, charitable, public health, and sustainable economic development activities.

The Whiteaker Community Council is one of 23 formally recognized neighborhood associations in Eugene and is also a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that acts as a charitable organization for the Whiteaker neighborhood.

As both a nonprofit and neighborhood association, we facilitate participation in the life and governance of the neighborhood and the City of Eugene by improving the livability of the neighborhood through participation in various projects by residents, volunteers, and property owners via an open and democratic neighborhood council.
